WEEK 8 - 2/13/10
SUMMARY:
Phil Schneider and Nate Schutt worked another first place finish in their second pair-up this season. They finished the night at 14-2, losing games only to second place finishers, Bob & Josh Greenauer. Bob & Josh, famously known as Dorkus Malorkus (4-time KanJam World Champions), ended Week 8 with a 13-3 record.
Perfect games were shot by Dana Misenheimer & Adam Williams, Kim Daugherty & Tom Popovec, and Bob & Josh Greenauer.
Phil Schneider continues to lead the league in overtime games and wins, posting a 4-1 record in Week 8. Phil only needs two overtime wins to beat the single season record set by LeeAnn Greenauer last season (29 wins).
Trailing in a game 21-9 with only one shot left, Eric Klavoon threw a clutch instant win to beat Dan Klavoon & KC Barnett, marking the only instant win in Week 8. This also marked Eric's first instant win since Season 1.
And believe it or not, a shootout took place without Adam Williams. Maybe next time, Adam. Josh Tonn & Scott Silverman edged Alex Reinecke & LeeAnn Greenauer in a shootout to determine 5th place for the night.
With four of the top five finishing at the top of the field, the large points lead has tightened in the overall standings, as Bob Greenauer trails Eric Klavoon by 9 points for first place. Phil Schneider and Josh Greenauer are close behind at 3rd and 4th. Only one more week left before drop week points are figured into the standings for the final race at this season's crown.
