It took exactly 50 weeks and more than 4 seasons for it to happen. The wait was over on Week 5 as the two most victorious players in league history finally got paired up. Eric Klavoon & Josh Greenauer started the night with a perfect game and ended with a perfect 16-0 record. This marks the third time that each player has went undefeated in the 4+ seasons of the league. In addition to going undefeated, Eric and Josh managed 3 perfect games on the night.

Another impressive performance was put up by Tim Klavoon & Phil Schneider, going 14-2 with only losses to Eric & Josh. They also tossed 3 perfect games as well. Both teams nearly missed another in a game against each other. Both teams went perfect to 21 until Eric & Josh eventually won in overtime.

Week 5 marked a night of league records. In addition to the undefeated record posted by Eric & Josh, newcomer Steve Grudzinski tossed a record 4 instant wins. This marks the most instant wins tossed by any player in one night. Also, six teams tossed at least one perfect game, which also is the most ever in league play. TJ Burns & Scott Silverman defeated Adam Williams & Kim Daugherty in a close shootout for 3rd place to end Week 5.

With 27 points for the night, Eric Klavoon moves back into the number one spot in the overall standings. Phil Schneider takes the second spot and Josh Greenauer gets into the mix, moving up from 10th to 4th place overall. Josh Tonn, Dana Misenheimer, TJ Burns, and Joe Smith all have the same exact record, keeping the race close from 9th to 12th place.
